Friends

I've been trying to get help at MATY with no results. Does anyone here use WA on Mac and have you gotten AM to work? If so, how? I've tried various things with no luck whatsoever. I've googled, I've searched MATY nothing is giving me a solution.

I found an earlier post about it and I've found two links to a hack, and both don't seem to work. http://sims3tinkers.com/smf/index.php?topic=10.0 http://mts3.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=mods&action=display&thread=62 Anybody know of a working link for the no maternity leave hack? 4 days after a baby's birth is just. too. long!

The Userinfo page has been updated with all the known Twitter pages of people involved in Team StarKid Productions.

My Sims have had three babies, but one of them isn't showing up in game. She's there when I click on the family to play them but isn't in the actual game. I've tried to get them pregnant again and tried to adopt but the game is insisting that the other missing baby is still there so there are to many family members for another baby.

How do I either get this missing baby back or convince the game that she's dead and have a new baby?

Every time I open my game I get this..

Literally every lot is a big blue square with sims standing around.

Seriously, EA? It was frustrating enough when all my store bought CC disappeared after dl'ing the patch. But this is just straight up ridiculous. I'd ask for any help but I don't know if this can be saved.

ETA: I went to edit town and opened China, France, and Egypt and they're all normal except my Sunset Valley game. :/

hey guys!

i'm thinking of reinstalling my whole game to clean it up, and so i can use the Create A World function.
however, i really love all the families i've created, and would like to bring them with me into my new 'world'.
i have uploaded them to the exchange so that i can download them later and play them in the new world.

i did a little test just now to see if they would retain their family relationships across families, but found it to be kinda buggy. basically, i started a new game and put all the families into various lots. when i checked the family tree, Sim 1's sole sibling, Sim 2, would be listed as related somehow, but the game doesn't recognise her to be the sister. however, Sim 1's husband recognises Sim 2 as his sister-in-law. Vice versa for the husband's own sibling - Sim 3. His wife can recognise her in-law but he can't recognise Sim 3 as his own sibling.

another issue i found is that a sim with multiple kids across various families only has one child show up on his family tree.

one last issue, which is understandable since it's a new game: sims lose Romantic Interests or Girl/Boyfriends despite them being in the neighbourhood. this is not a big deal, i can always manufacture them again. i'm mostly concerned about the family lines.

was wondering if anyone has experienced similar issues, or knows a work-around this.
it's quite sad to lose all the progress on the families so far if i do reinstall.

i currently use Awesome Mod and have not updated to the latest patch.

The Newest Patch May have BROKEN CC. Your CC may not work unless you(personally) downloaded it from the store, this includes TSR stuff. I will be giving this a few days until it's all figured out. AM may fix this.

I have a Sim with an epic lifespan, because I'm using her to test all the new expansion pack stuff. If she has a child, I assume it'll have an epic life span, too...Is there any way to set different Sims in the same household with different life lengths? If not, can I have different lengths set on different saves? Maybe I can move the kid out eventually and have a neighborhood with them.

I haven't bought the World Adventures expansion pack, but I did upgrade the game with the corresponding pack. The reason for this was, ironically, that AwesomeMod expires every few days and the current version requires the patch to be installed. But the patch killed off IndieStone story progression. Probably something about the phone menu, which was the one used to activate and regulate the mod. In any case, it was stone dead, no pun intended.
